the Lake Superior view and beach access at the
Seacoast @ Sand River Resort while you are visiting
the Upper Peninsula.
The
Seacoast @ Sand River Resort is open year round
and offers 8 rooms with 4 single rooms and 4 kitchenettes
or family suites. This combination of rooms provides
comfortable accommodations for families or groups
with kitchenette facilities and connecting rooms.
Each
of our rooms is furnished with queen beds and
double or twin futons and is tastefully decorated.
All rooms have satellite TV with 150 channels,
in room coffee, alarm clock radios, bathrooms
with tile showers, mini refrigerators, and electric
heat to keep you comfortable on the coldest of
Upper Peninsula nights. Some rooms have a door
in between and can be connected.
The
kitchenettes or family suites have queen beds
and futons, a full sized refrigerator, 2 burner
stove top, coffee maker, toaster, and necessary
cooking utensils and dinner ware. A microwave
can be provided if you like. These rooms can be
connected to some of the other rooms making comfortable
accommodations for a family or group. Gas grills
are by the motel for cooking up a barbecue and
picnic tables provided for eating or just enjoying
the view of Lake Superior.There are wonderful
cedar swings in the yard by the motel for relaxing
or watching the sunset over Lake Superior after
a busy day.
Take
a walk across M-28 and you can go down to the
beautiful sand beach and sit in the sand or wade
in the cool refreshing water of Lake Superior.

The
large grounds by the motel are perfect for group
gatherings or reunions and there's plenty of room
for parking your snowmobile or boat trailers.
Seacoast
@ Sandriver Resort is also located on Trail 417,
with Gas on Locationl and in a major snowbelt
with lake effect snow. Seacoast @ Sandriver Resort
is also located near the mouth of the Sand River
where you will find fishing, canoeing, and kayaking.
